Antique New Haven Westminster Chime No 4 Clock 1910 Rare Double Mechanism /Runs

This is an Antique New Haven Westminster Chime Mantel Clock with a Rare Double Mechanism. The clock does not come with a pendulum. The clock runs very well. I don't know how it keeps time as I did not have the correct pendulum for it.

I tried it out with a pendulum that I had, so I would know that it will run. It does not presently chime as it needs some repair to the chimes. This clock is old and has some damage to the finials, 2 are broken off they will be included, at least they are with the clock!

The larger broken off finial has the tip missing on it. There are 3 finials attached to the clock and one has the top broken off. The clock body has some scratches and dings, but is still in pretty nice condition for it's age. The dial has wear as well (see photos).

It has a golden toned design with a crowned ladies head in each corner surrounding the dial. I believe it is a Westminster Chime No 4 with a throw lever on the side of case for the chime. It is missing a bell and the throw lever is not connected (see photos). Please refer to the photos to see if there are other pieces missing as there could be more missing. The metal body of the clock has a "17" on it (see photos).

It also has "PAT AP'D FOR USA WILCOCK PAT IN CANADA 1836"on the lower movement base (see photos). The clock has the Wilcock Patent Chiming mechanism. I will include the key (it is not the original). It is missing the pendulum. The clock is approx 17 High to the middle part where the finial is missing so it will be higher when the finial is repaired and put back on. The width is approx 11 3/4" and 8 1/2" deep.

The clock has nice round feet. The latch for the back door of the clock has a piece missing, but it still works to hold the door shut. This is a nice antique clock and with some repair, it will be a very nice addition to your clock collection!

The movement was running at the time of Sale. There is no guarantee as to how long it will run. It has not been inspected closely or tested for accuracy. It may require adjustment and/or service to maintain its working condition. SEE PHOTOS FOR FURTHER DETAILS! I list any items to the best of my ability. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER VINTAGE AUCTIONS.
