The clock makes an excellent appearance and has a beautiful sounding nest of bells. The clock displays beautifully but, as should be expected on an antique clock, it has some minor scratches and imperfections that do not detract. The 5 diameter silvered dial has some wear but is still very good. The clock is running, chiming the quarters and counting the hours properly.
The main movement is No. And the chime movement is No. This is the first Sonora Chime Clock that I have seen with the Sonora name and patent date embossed stamped on the sound box (it is just below the chime movement - see photo).
There is a repair label by William A. From 1947 on the inside of the rear cover. Please use all of the photos to help you evaluate this attractive and beautiful sounding Sonora Chime Clock.
