It also chimes and strikes on the hour. Striking the number of the hour it is.

It keeps perfect time and needs to be wound once a week. I do not see any flaws to the clock surface or finish. Its a good example of this type clock. It has a silence mode switch, keeps it from chiming and striking. Height 14, width 10 1/4, depth 6.
