Set in my house I wind it every 6 to 7 days and it is has never been over a minute off between windings. Speed is adjusted by turning the nut under the pendulum bob. Raising the bob by turning clockwise from below will cause the clock to speed up. Pendulum clocks are the most accurate by virtue of gravity and momentum.
