A Junghans walnut cased mantel clock, circa 1900, the brass and silvered dial with applied art nouveau foliate corner mounts, the three-train movement, with chime/silent and slow/fast, with coil gong and westminster chimes, the case with arched pediment with carved facade, above a door with bevelled glass below carved panel, flanked by fluted pilasters, raised on a plinth base with carved panel. The brass works etched with Junghans star mark, B12 and 440.
With Vintage Retail Tag from McClure's Jewelers, Hastings, St. There is a date of 1/5/18 in pencil on verso of rear door. As Found, clock works appear complete, with the exception of a detached coil gong, which is present, but may need replacement. The walnut case and beveled glass are in exceptional condition.
