Nice Old Working German Linden Mauthe Westminster Chime 8 Day Wood Wall Clock

NICE OLD WORKING GERMAN LINDEN MAUTHE WESTMINSTER CHIME 8 DAY WOOD WALL CLOCK! 1940s -50s era clock in very nice working condition. It does have a few flaws such as some areas of wear on the dial, a small scratch on the glass for the dial, the veneer is missing on each side of the front edge at the bottom where the curved glass is (see last photo) and a few minor nicks and scratches on the case.

I removed the movement to oil it and make sure there was no excessive wear and did have to do one bushing for the chime train but the rest looked acceptable. Keeps excellent time and has a nice sounding loud chime and strike.

It is a little hard to regulate with the pendulum being behind the glass at the bottom, you have to remove the pendulum, make the adjustment then put it back without dropping it and breaking the glass and its a pretty tight area to work in!
