RARE HEATHKIT Clock GC-1195/GC-1197 DIGITAL Westminster Chimes, Parts/Repair

Here's a very rare and nice looking GC-1197 from Heathkit. This piece was acquired from the original owner and spent all it's life sitting high above on an entertainment unit. Please inspect photos carefully, since it is a very important part of the description. This piece appears to be unmolested and all original. When plugged in, it stays at 12:00 for a very short time and then starts counting up the time very fast.

I do hear the chimes going when plugged in. Considering the cosmetic condition, I think this is a great candidate for restoration and will be a nice addition to any clock collector. I will use bubble wrap and double box this gem, thank you and good luck.
