The original tag on the inside of the door has the instructions for operations , model stamp WC94 and date stamped "12-37" which represents production date of December 1937. The face has been cleaned, it has minor scuffs from normal usage.
It allows for adjustments to the time (fast and slow), silencing the chimes, and winding the time/chime arbors. The brass around the glass was cleaned and adds charm to the face. Glass is in excellent condition. The five chiming rods are in very good condition and make rich sound tones. The keys are new, on e larger for ease in winding the main arbors and other works for winding/adjusting the clock. The pendulum bob/weight is original with the clock displaying the "S" for Sessions, in gold color. We installed a new pendulum extension rod for accurate time keeping and two new high quality US made mainsprings from Time Savers, Inc. This clock is 21.5 inches wide, 10 inches tall, 5 inches deep and the face is 6 inches in diameter.
We installed several new bushings at the worn/oblong pivot points and two new mainsprings. The "WESTMINSTER WC 94" clock keeps time very well and has a very pleasant chime. We really appreciate the Sessions mechanical clocks for the workmanship and details. This clock is heavy and well built with quality pre-WWII US made materials. Refurbished antique clocks are excellent wedding, holiday, graduation, anniversary, retirement, and birthday gifts.
We then fill the box with foam peanuts and nestle the antique clock in the middle. We do the following to all of our clocks. Disassemble the entire clock and movement completely. Install new US made parts on the movement if needed (main springs and pendulum suspension rods). Bush all worn pivot holes with high quality Bergeon bronze bushings as needed.
Clean the entire movement using environment friendly cleaners. Clean the original dial careful not to alter its original condition.
Clean bezel, parts and chime rods by hand. Reassemble the clock, oil and lube in the proper places. Adjust chime and strike hammer sequence properly to assure smooth and even strikes. Inspect and adjust every minor detail of the clock assuring full function and peak performance for many years to come.Instructions for set up provided, contact number for ongoing support for your clock.
