Very Pretty Edwardian Westminster Chimes Junghans Bracket Clock. As the title exclaims, this is a lovely Jungans'westminster chimes' bracket/mantel clock. The beautiful, shiny Junghans'B10' westminster movement is housed in a stunning mahogany case with intricate and vivid marquetry work surrounding the front face and top center. The marquetry is crafted with kingwood, satinwood and what looks like green poplar.

Many Junghans'westminster' cases were housed in rather ugly and plain cases and are very common to find. This case however is a lot rarer and is very elegant. Numeral, detailed engraved silvered face (numbers 5 and 6 have faded/worn a little but nothing to worry about). The whole clock is in very good condition. The movement is bright, works very well and keeps good time.

The clock all chimes correctly on the quarters, half's and hours and the various gongs resonate very well. Comes with both its keys. A lovely, rare authentic example that has markings commensurate with age. Would make a beautiful gift! Please do remember given the sensitive nature of the movements that after transit they may need adjusting and/or setting up.
