It plays a full Westminster chime on the hour and counts the number of the hour with a harmonious strike. The chimes can also be made silent. The pleasant, mechanical tick-tock is comforting and brings an old-time feeling to any room.

The wood case has an attractive design and the finish makes it really eye-catching with minor, expected age related wear which you can see in the pictures. The dial is in great condition as is the brass bezel and grommets, and the glass. The hands are beautiful and are in excellent condition. The brass movement is in excellent condition.

The springs are in good condition with excellent tension and the clicks are very solid as the clock is wound. The pendulum weight is the original polished brass bob. The chime rods are sturdy nonferrous metal. Each of the chime hammers are in excellent condition and make a very pleasant, resonating chime. It comes with the winding key, original pendulum, and set-up instructions. This family treasure will remain operational for many years.
