1910s Antique German Mantel Bracket Clock Working With Westminster Chimes

A large working German clock that displays and performs magnificently. The clock measures 18.5 tall, 12 wide and 7.5 deep. The mahogany case is in excellent condition with no noticeable marks.

The beveled glass measures 7 by 9 and its in excellent condition. All original clock except for the chiming rods which are an antique German replacement because the original rods were broken. The sound quality is excellent, strong and highly resonating.

The 5.5 dial and plate are aged but in very good condition. The 8 day brass movement is clean and works correctly. This clock keeps accurate time. The movement correctly plays Westminster chiming patterns at 15,30,45 and 60 on 4 rods. In addition, the movement correctly strikes the number of hours on one rod.

The movement is marked 18cm 158 PAT ANG 44681. Cleaned, serviced and tested, comes with its original adjustable pendulum, German winding key plus a French winding key. An outstanding high quality German timepiece that should provide many years of service.
