Winterhalter 5 Tube Westminster Chime Hall Clock. The family I got the clock from said they were always told it was a wedding gift to their grandparents in 1929. It has a very nice mahogany case with burl mahogany at the top. It stands 7 feet tall to the tip of the finial. There's one small piece of wood missing that you can see in the photograph at the bottom of the door.At some time in its life a cable broke and the weight went through the bottom which was not uncommon. It's just a cosmetic problem and does not hurt the Integrity of the case. I made a piece of wood that drops in the bottom and covers the damage. The movement is a HIGH QUALITY German made 5 tube Westminster Chime eight-day clock. The dial is signed Winterhalder Germany and the back of the movement has the trade mark WH for Winterhalder and Hoffmeyer. I had it running now for several weeks and it's keeping excellent time and chimes every 15 minutes. The tubular chimes are in good condition and sound great. I oiled the movement but it should be disassembled and cleaned and overhauled because it's 90 years old and it has not been serviced in decades. I can do that for an additional cost if you need it done. The clock is for sale as is unless you have me overall the movement and I will guarantee my work for 5 years!
