Vintage Smiths Enfield 3-Train Westminster Chime Mantel Clock. Original British mid-century mechanical mantel clock manufactured by The Enfield Clock Co. The movement is clearly marked. BRITAIN BY THE ENFIELD CLOCK CO.

This is a three-train spring-driven mechanical movement with Westminster chime. The clock has three winding arbors on the dial and a multi-rod chime mechanism. Smiths Enfield movements of this type are documented with three mainsprings, five hammers/rods and Westminster quarter-hour chimes. The clock has been tested running with the pendulum and the Westminster chime operating. A video showing the clock in operation is included with the listing.
