Antique German Kienzle mantel clock featuring an 8-day mechanical wind-up movement, Westminster quarter-hour chime, and hour strike. The movement is marked Kienzle with the winged clock logo, Made in Germany, and German patent/design markings including D. This clock has a dark wood tambour / Napoleon hat style case with brass bezel, convex glass, Arabic numeral dial, blue-tone hands, pendulum, and multiple chime rods. The clock chimes on the quarter hour and strikes across the rods. Key is included but not original.

Based on the German Kienzle movement markings and design, this clock appears to date to the 1920s. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Pre-owned antique condition with normal age-related wear, light finish wear, light surface scratches, patina, and marks from use and age. The case presents well overall with a nice dark wood finish. Dial, glass, bezel, pendulum, movement, and chime rods are present.

Tested at time of inspection. Clock runs, chimes on the quarter hour, and strikes across the chime rods.
