Antique 1930's Bentima Westminster Chiming Mantel Clock with Perivale Mechanism. This is an antique 1930's Westminster "Bentima" chiming mantel clock with "Perivale" mechanism. This clock is in excellent condition and is in full working order.

The clock is made from oak which it has a beautiful swooping domed top and an additional oak carving to the bottom. The oak has a light and dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and silver coloured hands.

To the right of the number three is the silence lever. This is not functioning correctly, when put into silence mode the chime will not chime (as it shouldn't) but when the lever is moved back again the chime is somehow thrown out of sequence.

The face is protected by a circular convex glass door with a chromed metal bezel. (the door is a little wobbly). The glass is intact and in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks or chips. To the rear of the clock is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. This chimes at quarter past the hour, half past the hour, quarter to the hour and on the hour. On the hour this also chimes the number of hours. This comes complete with its original pendulum and original key. Height: 21.25cm (8 1/2). Width: 29.5cm (11 3/4).
