5 Mantle Clock Westminster Chime Runs 8 Day 1922. Included in this very nice collection was this beautiful Ansonia mantle clock. It is an eight day time and strike.

The copy from the 1923 Ansonia catalog states the following: Chime on melodious True-Toned rods. Patented feature for bringing chime and time into union. Finest quality mahogany case, dial hand rubbed. Silvered dial back with raised bronze numerals on silver plated raised ring. There are no flaws I could find.

The movement was overhauled by the clock-maker in June 2006 and two mainsprings were replaced at that time. Especially check out the dial. The clock is in very good to excellent condition. I inspected it, tested it and oiled the movement. I didnt see any bushings that needed attention.

It is a gorgeous clock, is currently running and keeping good time. This is a heavy clock. The pictures are part of the description.
