Antique c1930's British Bentima & Perivale Westminster Chiming Mantel Clock. Westminster chiming mantel clock with a. This is in full working order. It has a beautiful domed oak body with a decorative carving below the face. The are 2 stress lines to the veneer at the top rear.

The oak has a medium brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. In shape with a speckled cream coloured metal chapter ring, silver coloured numerals and gold. To the right of the. Number three is the chime/silence selector lever (fully functional).

The face is protected by a. Convex glass door with a brass bezel. Approximately half the glass is cloudy. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber.

The door is intact and is in excellent condition. This chimes at quarter past the hour, half past the hour, quarter to the hour and on the hour. On the hour it also chimes the number of hours.

This comes complete with its key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 28th April 2024.
