Antique Fontenoy Westminster Chime Wall Clock made in France Mantel Shelf

Westminster Chime Fontenoy clock from France. This clock is not in perfect running condition.

It will run for about 30 minutes and will trigger chime hammers. The hammers will need adjustment to get a nice clean sound but they do go through the movement on the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and hour. I think with a thorough cleaning of the movement and some adjustment this would be a strong running clock.

The cabinet does have some nicks and veneer issues as seen in the pictures and I do not believe it is the original glass over the clock face. I do have one loose piece of veneer, as seen in the last picture, that can be reglued to the cabinet that will come with the clock. The three little windows are the original beveled glass.

Please ask as many questions as you need or request pictures if wanted. My father started collecting 50 years ago and I started about 25 years ago.

I hate to let these go and most are in excellent condition but a medical emergency forces us to sell. Please watch for future listings.
