Measures approximately 21 " Long x 10 1/4" Tall x 7 Deep. The movement appears visually complete, very clean, and the gears spin freely, but it has not been wound, oiled, or verified for long-term timekeeping accuracy. Just as a side note, this clock belonged to my father.
He passed away in 2012. He had many clocks and they all worked and had been serviced by a professional clockmaker. I remember this clock distinctly and it's beautiful sounding Westminster chimes. It has not been used since he passed and I would recommend servicing this clock. It has been kept in an air-conditioned home. The premium wood casing holds a beautiful deep tone with only minor surface scuffs, light edge wear, and honest cosmetic patina from age. No major splits (split in back door)or structural breaks. Dial & Glass: The front glass door frame opens and latches cleanly.
The dial face is remarkably well-preserved with clear numerals and beautiful hands. A magnificent piece of early 20th-century German horology that would make a spectacular functional centerpiece for any mantel, study, or premium clock collection.
Due to the dense weight and precision gears of this German movement, the clock will be packed with extreme care using thick bubble wrap, secure internal bracing, and a heavy-duty box. Please review all high-resolution photos closely to evaluate physical cosmetics before purchasing.
