Antique New Haven Westminster Chime Clock ELABORATE STYLING. This is a very intricate and beautiful clock. It was made by the New Haven Clock Company in New Haven, Conn. USA during the early to mid 1920's.

It has a very complicated (signed New Haven) Westminster Chime movement that, although in "as found" condition, runs and chimes well. In case you are not familiar with Westminster Chimes, these are the ones that play a tune every 15 minutes; 4 notes on the quarter; 8 notes on the ½ hour; 12 notes at the ¾ hour; and then the full 16 note tune on the hour, followed by the hour toll, i. 1 toll at 1:00, 2 tolls at 2:00, etc. The case is in overall nice shape. It has been refinished at one time, revealing the true beauty of the wood, much of which appears to be solid mahogany.

The deluxe dial, bezel and beveled glass crystal are original and in pretty good shape. The dial has some light age and scratching, along with a noticeable stain near the 7 and 8 o'clock area. It is a larger clock, measuring 20 ¾" long x 10" high x 6 ½ deep, and there is a key and the original pendulum included. This helps insure that the new owner will have a satifying experience. Be very sure to save all packaging material if there is a problem.

All sales are final, (with the exception noted below). It is nearly impossible to find one in "mint" condition.
