Antique Seth Thomas Westminster 5 Bell Sonora Clock

Offering a antique Seth Thomas 8 day Westminster mantle clock with the Sonora bell chimes. The clock is 14 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 7 and 1/2 inches deep. The clock movements are the 90B and 89AG models. The movements have been inspected, serviced and tested for two weeks to verify good timekeeping and chiming.

The clock plays the Westminster melody at each quarter hour and then counts the number of the hour on the hour, all using the great sounding bells. The wood case has a reddish finish and is in good condition. The surface is mildly pebbled and not sure if that is aging or was produced that way. Carries the Seth Thomas name and presents well.

Glass over the dial is beveled and in good shape. Brass bezel over the dial operates correctly, rear door also works well. Has the chime shut off lever on the side. The pendulum and key both appear to be original to the clock.
