Antique Westminster Chime Clock with Mahogany & Bronze Case from Germany

Description of item for sale. The high point of this pretty antique clock is its high quality full Westminster chime and a case design that makes it sound like a large grandfather clock. It is in excellent working condition and keeps time as it should. The clockworks do not show a maker's mark but are marked "Made in Germany". There is also a date stamp on the inside of the back door: 15 Aug. The clock face shows some wear (see photos). The mahogany case is in very good antique condition. It is solid and unwarped with no damage. The original finish shows a typical crazing of the varnish (see photos). The feet and original key are bronze. The beveled glass front door shows no chips or scratches of any significance. Dimensions: 13.5" tall, 11" wide, 8 deep.
