It chimes every quarter, with a full chime on the hour - chiming out the hours. It is in good condition, with the makers stamp on the movement (clock face with hands). It is possibly of German origin.

It comes with a key & is sitting on six wooden bun feet. The clock is around 10.1/2" (27cm) high x 19" (48cm) wide x 6 (15cm) deep. One of the 6 bars from the rear has come out, as pictured, and will require repairing.
