Stunning German caddy top designed case with beautiful patina and colour to the carved case. The wooden case has various hand carved decorations all in excellent condition with a fantastic display look.

Their are embossed bronze side panels and a brass carry handle to the top. The case has a glazed front bezel and hinged back door. Case is in good original condition for age and looks superb on display with good patina. Engraved 5.5 inch silvered chapter ring dial.

Roman numerals & original hands. Their is a silent/chime selection lever on the side of the dial.

Dial is in good original condition with only very minimal age wear. German 8 day Westminster chime movement by Franz Hermle FHS. Original floating balance escapement and a new brass winding key.

Strikes every 1/4 on 4 gong rods then on the hour after the musical chime has finished it strikes the hours. Movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking as it should as you can see in the video above. The clock has superb proportions and measures 14 inches high x 11.5 inches wide x 6.25 inches deep. This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece.
