You are looking to this large vintage Christiaan Huygens. See movie footage via the link below. 32 cms / 12.59'' inches with brass handle raised. This is a Christiaan Huygens with a Westminster chime (see movie). The clock nut wood case is in a beautiful arched style. On either side of the case their are 2 wooden large wooden fretwork sounding panels with their original silk material behind them and both in perfect condition. Large brass handle and brass square feet. The clock chimes every 15 minutes and can be silenced by pulling down the bar over the rods.

Beautiful decorated dial with a central rolling moon dial. Christiaan Huygens name to the bottom of the dial and also impressed on the movement. Rods may need adjusted for a more refined sound.

12.59 inches / 32cm high with handle. 9.44 inches / 24cms across.
