Completely Rebuilt Junghans Westminster Chime Mantle Clock! VERY NICE

This movement is marked with the Junghans logo, the six pointed star, B32 (date stamp for February 1932) and the movement designation, 160. The c ompany was known for their quality workmanship of their time movements, two train movements, three train movements and 400 day clocks. It strikes the Westminster chimes on 4 beautifully tuned chime bars and strikes each hour with a three bar chord. This clock is in extremely nice shape.

It is running, chiming and striking properly. The movement has been completely.

Disassembled, cleaned in a sonic cleaner, ALL pivots polished, rebuilt with bushings installed as necessary and oiled with a very high grade of clock oil. This timepiece is now ready for another 80+ years run at life. The case is in EXCELLENT condition and has been treated with nothing more than a very high quality wood cleaner and polish.

There are some very minor blemishes, as is commensurate with its age. The beveled glass is scratch, chip and bubble free.

The dimensions are 14" tall x 12" wide x 7 1/2 deep. As with any mechanical clock, it may need adjusting upon arrival at its new home. It does come with a winding key. All others will need to be quoted. If you have any questions or need more pictures, please do not hesitate to ask.

My buddy Harry, in the last picture, was supervising my work because he is unable to help any more. With his eyes failing he cannot see to make the necessary adjustments and his inability to hear any more, make him unable to hear the ticking of the movements. But he can still kibitz... Er' a, that is, supervise.
