Really cool clock up for sale. Clock has been altered since its manufacture, so please read the description and view all photos closely.

I believe that this clock originally ran off of being wound. However, the current clock movement runs off of two C batteries.

It is a Hermle 2214, quartz movement, made in Germany. Includes the original key for winding the previous movement and a page of directions for the current movement installed in the clock. When the movement was replaced it was mounted to a custom piece of wood in the cabinet. This wood covers the holes for winding the previous movement. Also, because of the replaced movement, the phases of the moon disc no longer rotates with the clock.

It moves freely if you use your fingers (from the front or from behind), but it no longer moves with the clock. Please note that the speaker piece is not permanently mounted anywhere inside of the clock cabinet.

It is attached by power cords and can either sit on the bottom of the cabinet or be pushed into the empty circle in the clock movement. When you go to use the clock, you will need to remove the back panel and remove packing material before inserting batteries and using the clock. It has options for Westminster Chimes, Bim Bam (maybe just on the 1/2 hour), softer noises for nighttime, turning the noise off at night, volume control...

I haven't explored all of its options. Wonderful wooden cabinet, front glass door opens and closes smoothly with magnetic closure. No major scratches on the wooden cabinet, there are a couple of small spots that could be touched up... But that aren't really noticeable unless you're searching for damage.
