Custom Made by Local Craftsman as a gift. You'll not find another like this one = totally UNIQUE design and construction. Movement is Quartz - powered by a single "C" cell [INCLUDED]. Face is protected by a class cover with brass hinges. Face is composed of carefully cut and mounted teak strips together with brass panel inserts.

A'window' is present in the face which allows view of the brass and wood pendulum. Pendulum is ADJUSTABLE - which is how the speed of the clock mechanism is regulated. Mechanism has been provided by KLOCKIT company. REAR of clock has a removable panel held by two brass swivel catches. Access to the clock mechanism is achieved from the rear.

Rear panel has a cloth covered'sound hole' to allow the chime to carry well outside the case. On the Exterior of the rear panel is a DEDICATION: (Cursive has been approximated where not distinct). Your continued love and devotion.

NOTE: this dedication is pinned by very small brads, and is most likely removable if wished. These will require simple installation. CONDITION: Fully Functional = Looks Great!

Keeps time well - chimes fairly easy to set. Instructions as photographed are INCLUDED. Dust on the exterior & in case is minimal, but shelf dust is present. Wood case is in fine condition, if a bit'dry'.

Clock hands are brass, and are slightly irregular with patina. You may elect to clean or polish them.

We made no improvements here, or anywhere on this clock. NO SERVICE TO RUSSIA DUE TO THE INVASION OF THE UKRAINE. Plus the ongoing hacks on the USA. This has been my policy since 2016.
