Vintage Ethan Allen Regulator Wall Clock. 2 Weights - Time and Spring Driven for Chime/Strike.

Nice Wood Case 1980s to 1990s. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself! This is a very sought after maker's clock. The Vienna Style wood case has a lot of its' original elegance. Check out the dental molding along the top of the case.

Not sure what wood this case is made of. Might be a cherry wood. There is one door on the front of the clock.

The 2 latches are in place. Nice metal pendulum rod and then a gold colored lacquered bob. Nice intact front and side glass pieces on this case. All the beveled glass pieces are securely in place, with with no blistering or cracks.

The clock face is made of metal and has an antique white finish to it. Some minor loss to the finish of the face.

Has the Ethan Allen name on the face. He clock hands match and look appropriate to the clock. There is some sort of film on the clock face and on the inside of the top of the clock case door. Most of it came off with just Windex, but still needs some attention to remove completely. Did not damage the finish of the face or the wood case.

The clock was made by the Ethan Allen Company in the late 1980s to early 1990s. The brass lacquered shelled leaded weights are in place, no dings or dents. The strike and time parts of the Kieninger movement from Germany are powered by spring winds. The clock does the Westminster Chimes, and strikes the hours on the hour as expected. The clock comes with a nice wind key, see pic.

There is no representation that the clock is in original condition, or will continue to be in working order. This Ethan Allen Wall Clock stands 43.25" tall, by 12" across, by 7-5/8 wide. The clock face is 5-7/8.

One really needs to have the patience, and skill to work with these great works of art. They are not our modern plug in and go, or change the battery clocks.
