German Art Deco Chime Clock Glass Case Cuckoo Clock Co Westminster Chimes Runs & Strikes. Guess is the clock is from the 1950s. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! The base of the clock is made of metal and the dome of metal and glass. The clock was made by the Cuckoo Clock Company of Germany. The glass top sits on top of the metal base. The rods to hold the dome to the base are in place. One of the pieces that rod goes thru has come unsoldered or unscrewed from the base, still with the clock.

The white paint on the clock face shows some loss. The 3 wind springs feel sound when keyed. The clock chimes on the quarter hours and then chimes and strikes the hours when run manually. The Westminster Chimes and Strike are done by nine strike hammers on rods. The clock will come with a vintage wind key.

The appropriate pendulum bob and hanger for it are still with the movement. The serial number on the movement is "229265". The clock movement was just recently serviced by Clock Doc. This clock has a strike and chimes function as well. Runs for a minute or so and then stops.

Not sure if crutch adjustment issue or something else. The clock is approximately 11-5/8" across, by 7-5/8" tall, by 5-5/8 wide. The clock face is 6 across.
