This clock keeps accurate time, and the WESTMINSTER chime is pleasing. The gold tone metal does not show any signs of wear, and the glass door is clean and intact. The wood case has one small gap at the bottom right of the door, as shown in the pictures. The cabinet is solid furniture grade wood with a pecan finish. The clock measures approximately 28"T x 15"W x 8D. The movement is made in west Germany, and bears the mark 341-020, with NO (0) JEWELS un-adjusted. The original key is included.

I do not know the age of this clock. It is from an ESTATE SALE, and was hanging on the wall, ticking, when I found it! This is a great clock in great condition! Christmas is coming so this will be a great gift for that SPECIAL person in your life! This is no a defect, simply a characteristic of key wound clocks.
