1910 Victorian Westminster Mantel Clock made by Otto Berner in Stuttgart. This was my Mother's grandfather's clock he brought with him from Germany. THE CLOCK STILL WORKS GREAT! The clock will chime every 15 minutes with a different sound indicating 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes and the hour.
After the hour, after it chimes, then it bongs the number of hours. To wind, open the front glass. Left hole - wind for chimes. Right hole -- wind for clock.
Wind until you can't turn any more. Wind every 8 hours or before guests arrive. There's door in back that opens. You take the pendulum "bob" off it's hook so it isn't left swinging. It's easy to put it back.
There are two copies of the key. There are two holes on front of clock. Stick key in Right Hole and turn - that winds the clock to run the time.
Stick same key in Left hole and turn - that winds the chime to chime every hour. If you don't want the noise of the chime, don't wind that hole. I suggest you use the clock for show, like when a guest visits you.
Wind the clock and chime and let it chime for your guests. 14 inches height, 10 inches length, 7 inches width.
