A large Gustav Becker 8 day Westminster chimes mantel clock in working order keeping good time, it chimes every quarter and the relevant amount of strikes on the hour there is also a silent mode situated above the dial. The oak case stands 17" at its highest point, 11" at its widest and 7 1/2 deep, to the front it is carved around it's upper portion with beading running down either side. The dial has Roman numerals with decorative spandrels in each corner this is covered by bevelled glass, the door opens and is locked via its small key. Internally the movement is happily ticking away it is stamped with the Gustav Becker Anchor emblem and medaille d'or below this numbered 2114547.
