It has a dark antiqued patina with some cosmetic scratches and nicks. It has some case hairline cracks, but the case is still very stout. It is also missing two feet on the front bottom, but this really doesn't affect a clock as it still sits level, see photos.
The movement looks complete and original. All three Springs are good in the movement, and I really haven't tested the clock over a period of time. Like all chime clocks that haven't been used in years, it would need to be cleaned, serviced, and adjusted.
