This beautiful imported clock is a wonderful example of their exquisite work. This is a Westminster Chime brass spring driven 8 day movement signed FHS, Germany (for Franz Hermle), that chimes on each ΒΌ hour and the hour then strikes time in a melodious tone. The clock case is inlaid with fine floral walnut veneer and decorated in gold plated 24kt cast brass. Large glass side lights allow viewing of the works and brass pendulum.
Relief cast gilt bronze dial signed Le Ore with porcelain inset hour numerals and made in Italy below. Gilt bronze mounts and figural finial top. This clock is running chiming and striking and is in excellent condition. A rare beautiful clock in pristine condition. The Dimensions are 30 to top of finial, 12 wide and 6 deep.
