New Haven Clock, Antique Westminster Chime, Original With Label, Great Runner

I believe that "elbow grease" and paste wax produces a better result than a can of paint or varnish. I strive to retain the historical value of the clock, keeping original parts and exterior finish when possible. I have accumulated many wonderful clocks and need to sell several so I can continue my hobby, bringing old clocks back to life. All of the clocks that I will be listing have been running and chiming accurately in my home. They may require some adjustment in your house for accuracy. Please view pictures carefully as a major part of the description, all questions will be promptly answered. For your consideration is another New Haven Westminster Chime Tambour clock. This is the "Pelham" model circa 1924. It stands " 9.5" tall, 21" wide and 5.5"deep, this is the smallest Westminster clock that I've seen.

The original label is still intact on the rear access door. The mahogany case is in great condition with fine grained oak inlay on the front panel. The 5.5 dial is the original and not perfect, but displays nicely with Arabic black over gold raised numerals. The original brass bezel and convex glass crystal are shiny and clear, the bezel droops approximately 1/16 upon opening but closes securely.

The movement is the original, signed New Haven 8 day movement that strikes every 15 minutes consecutively with the Westminster tune and counts the hour with a mellow resonating tone. It is cleaned, tight and newly oiled.

This is a great running clock and the chimes are self setting. Comes with the original pendulum bob and replacement key. This clock will come to your home ready to display, just place it on a near level surface, hang the pendulum bob and enjoy it for years to come!
