The case has impressive proportions for a musical bracket clock measuring only 16.5 inches high. The case has a hinged brass door to the front and hinged wooden door to the back, both are in full working order and have catches to hold the shut. The hand carved decoration is of the highest quality with a architectural design. It has a pitched roof top with a brickwork design band around the top and bottom of the front of the case with corinthian style pillars.

The clock has a 6.5 inch square brass dial with silvered chapter ring and bronze pierced spandrels, t he dial is in amazing condition and has a silvered plaque to the centre engraved with retailers A. It has a German 8 day 3 train musical movement which is in full working order by the very well known German clock makers Winterhalder & Hofmeier.

The movement chimes every 1/4 hour playing the westminster chime on 4 gongs. Movement has recently been fully serviced and is in full working order keeping good time, chiming and striking as it should as you can see in the video above.
