Sessions Rare Antique Mantle Clock Westminster Chimes 100% Original Runs Great

This is a SUPERIOR example of a Sessions Mantle Clock IN 100% ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION with WESTMINSTER CHIMES. 1920's -1930's Has a key but is not the original Sessions Key and does not have the key for adjusting Speed or turning the chime on or off. Mahogany case stands 10 inches high and is 21.75 inches wide. It retains the original finish, now darkened, but in very good condition.

Bowed and beveled glass in the hinged sash. Five inch silvered dial with raised bronze numerals and original hands. It is fitted with an 8 day quarter hour Westminster chime movement that strikes on rods. Dial and movement are signed It is a hard to find an all original clock in this fine a condition. This is a rare clock as it has Westminster Chimes, but just two winding holes.

This is accomplished by an ingenious movement, great fun to watch it chime and strike the large metal disks revolve and slide in and out as it switches from chime to strike!
