This beautiful Mahogany cased clock was made by Seth Thomas Clock Company a division of General Time Corporation. 8 day 124 Westminster chime movement that chimes four bars of Westminster every 15 min, gradually playing more bars until on the hour plays all notes and counts the hour on chime rods. Silvered metal dial with black Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers. There is an timekeeping adjuster just below the 12 o'clock. Brass bezel with a convex glass. There is some "fret" work accent just below the dial. Highly decorative pierced brass hands. Four brass feet to match the hands, dial, and accent. Inside the back door is the original label. Stamped is 5101 1951 is the year made and January is the month made.
