This is a Seth Thomas mantel or shelf clock with a No. 124 Westminster Chime movement that is not in running condition.
It will only tick for approximately 10 minutes, then it will stop. The chimes work correctly and strike every 15 minutes when the hands are turned manually, but the clock does not run continuously. The chime block is marked "Mayland" and it has 5 rods. The case is approximately 8-1/8 wide x 10-3/4 high.
The case is made of wood, and I believe it's mahogany, and it has inlay in the front. It's an 8 day clock. A winding key is included. There's a partial label on the bottom that identifies it as "No 96 Chime". The glass over the dial is convex.
