It uses a 124 movement which began in 1924. I'm guessing this clock is from that time period. It keeps great time and the chime sounds pretty good but could probably use some professional tuning. I'm keeping it wound with a key that belongs to my wall clock.
I will bubble wrap the heck out of it to prevent damage. UPDATE: I have a key that winds up the springs and will include it. You will still need a key to fit the smaller square.
