This beautiful Seth Thomas Carriage Mantel Clock is a true colonial time piece. With a walnut finish and solid brass handle on top, it is a stunning addition to any room. The clock has a quartz movement with a pendulum option.

It features striking the hour and once on half hour and musical westminster chime sequence on the hour. A "C" size battery will last about 2 years. So far clock has kept excellent time. It has a fine adjustment screw for time fine adjustment but be careful very sensitive.

Clock action made in Japan. A second hand is an option but not currently available on this clock.

Clock is in excellent condition and finish. The front glass door and rear doors have strong stainless steel door hinges.

The front door closure is magnetic the back door has a spring snap post closure. The clock weighs about 7.5 pounds. It does have a ticking sound from pendulum movement. Overall a very fine piece of finished wood with an updated convenient & accurate quartz movement timepiece. Measuring 14 inches in height, 11 inches in width, and 7.5 inches in depth, this mantel clock is perfect for any foyer, living room, bedroom, sunroom, home office/study, lounge, guestroom, den, or dining room. It is an original piece from the late 20th century, manufactured in the United States, and weighs 7.5 lbs.
