The case has a glazed front brass bezel and removable back door.

Case is in good original condition for age and looks superb on display with only a couple of marks to the top edge which are hardly noticeable when on display. The clock has superb proportions measuring only 10.25 inches high. Silvered circular dial with brass filigree centre panel. Arabic numerals & original hands. Dial is in excellent original condition signed by the maker Hermle.

German 8 day Westminster chime movement by Franz Hermle FHS. Original floating balance escapement and a new brass winding key. Chimes every 1/4 on 4 gong rods then on the hour after the musical chime has finished it strikes the hours on 3 of the 5 rods. Movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking as it should as you can see in the video above.

The clock has superb proportions and measures 10.25 inches high x 8.5 inches wide x 5.25 inches deep. This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece.
