Stunning Large English Mahogany Westminster Bracket Clock & Bracket (c. 1870-80)

Fresh from the workshop is this gorgeous.. 19thC Large Solid Mahogany Westminster Chiming English Bracket Clock c. 1870-80 and Mahogany Wall Bracket. In great refurbished condition with the odd mark or faint scratch commensurate with its age and use.

This works like clockwork keeping good time and correctly striking a multi-coil chime bar each quarter (Westminster tune) and the time on the hour. The English triple train (spring not Fusee) mechanism is in great condition with no issues and as you can see by the video is very clean and recently serviced. The case has a plethora of brass decorative features including a large finial to the top and brass adjustable feet. The beautiful clock face is protected by an arched bevelled glass door and has a speed regulator above 12 o'clock.

It comes with its original key to lock the rear door (lock worn but works) and original key for winding! It measures 12"W x 18"H x 9D and comes with it solid mahogany wall bracket.. Video available at Morgan and King Antiques on FB.
