Vedette Westminster Chime 8 Day Regulator Wall Clock

A classic solid oak case French regulator wall clock with Westminster (Big Ben) chimes. It has a rectangular oak case 25 x 12 x 8, a round silvered dial with black numerals, and a beveled glass door. The case has two removable doors (shown in the pictures) one on each side, which allow access to the movement without having to take the movement out of the case. The 8 day spring driven pendulum movement sounds the hours and the quarter hours on beautiful sounding chime rods.

It has a facility to silence the chime. Made by Vedette of France where it was called Regulateurs et Carillons Vedette.

This is a very nice regulator clock, in working order. It comes with adjustable pendulum and key. Its been keeping time accurately and filling the air with the melodious Westminster Chime in my home. I had to make some adjustments when I received it.
