Vintage 1999 Amana Tambour 8 Day Westminister Chiming Mantel Clock Working

Pre-owned 1999 Amana Tambour 8 Day Westminster chiming mantel clock in solid oak housing. It measures 19" x 5" x 9 tall. It has 3 winds & chimes on each quarter hour. Keeps good time and in a week only 2 minutes slow but that could be because I didn't fully wind it for testing.

Came from an estate and as pictures. Known here as our best sounding mantel clock, the Amana Tambour Clock is crafted by using a solid block of wood that is split to give you two matched sides. Carefully shaped and sanded, it becomes a piece so soft to your hand and eye that you would never think it possible when looking at the original block of wood.

Personally crafted in our Amana workshop and signed by the craftsman who built the clock. German 8-day key wound movement. Westminster chimes on each quarter hour.

Proudly made in the USA! Available in walnut, cherry and oak.
