Vintage Antique 1918 Waterbury #503 Westminster Chime Mantel Clock

This is a desirable, vintage Waterbury #503 Westminster Chime 8 Day Mantel Clock circa 1917 in excellent overall condition. Beautiful wood dome case with gold metal filigree face. Original dial faceplate with Waterbury inscribed markings. Unique to this style, and time period, are two subsidiary dials above the faceplate.

The one of the left silences the chime. The one on the right regulates the time slower/faster. The clock is complete with key and pendulum and is in running condition. It produces a beautiful chime on the quarters, at the half hour and at the top of the hour. Measures 16 inches in heigth, 13 inches in length and 8 inches wide.

As noted in the images, the clock has light wear to the case, with a few small scuffs, scratches and knick's which are acceptable and expected with an item that is over 100 years old. The clock has been well cared for, is super clean and is absolutely beautiful (see images). The Westminster Chime on the quarter brings real, old time warmth to the home throughout the day.
