A handsome vintage Bentima mantel clock in a classic oak arch-top case, fitted with a Perivale 8 day mechanical movement and Westminster chime. This is a very appealing English mantel clock with a warm traditional look, an attractive signed dial, and a particularly pleasing Westminster sound. The clock retains its original hands, which suit the dial beautifully and add to its period character. Fully serviced and offered in good working order, it makes an excellent decorative and usable vintage timepiece for the home.

Mainsprings serviced as part of the work carried out. This clock is in good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with the years.

The bezel shows some ageing to the finish, visible in the photographs, and the dial has light wear commensurate with use. The original hands are a particularly nice feature and add greatly to the authenticity and character of the piece. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description. This clock has undergone a full service and clean, including the springs, and is running well.

The movement has been properly attended to rather than simply tested, and the clock strikes and chimes with a notably pleasing Westminster sound.
