This vintage Mauthe 8 Day Westminster Chime German Wall Clock has an attractive wood case with fluted columns, a signed 8 diameter gilt dial with ornate hands, a convex door glass and a serpentine lower glass to view the pendulum. The clock makes an excellent appearance and displays beautifully but, consistent with its age, it has some minor scratches and imperfections that do not detract. The clock is running, chiming the quarter hours and counting the hours on beautiful sounding chime rods but I do not know when it was last serviced. The signed gilt dial has some minor imperfections but is still excellent. The clock still retains its original door stop.
Note: the door stop on most of these clocks is missing. Please use all of the photos to help you evaluate this collectible Westminster Chime Wall Clock. The clock is approximately 15 1/2" high x 13" wide x 5 1/2 deep.
