Vintage Hermle Mantle Triple Chime Clock For Parts or Repair READ DESCRIPTION
This is a nice working Hermle clock. However, it probably could use an overhaul as it does lose power and the chimes become sluggish before 8 days (usually around 5 days).
Note that these mechanical clocks can, and will eventually, break down - most often the springs brake. This can happen at any time - I have had it happen to me within days/weeks of acquiring mechanical clocks. The clock does keep time well and comes with a key.
Chimes do work but again they become sluggish - I think the springs need changing. There's 3 chimes - Westminster, Whittington and St. Other than that the clock has minor wear on the case as shown in the photos and can be used as-is or worked on to upgrade it. 28" x 6.5" x 9.5.
